Outreach and Accessibility
Epsilon Spires believes that the benefits of creative expression and opportunities to strengthen community ties should be equally accessible to all. To activate this core value, we have launched an Outreach and Accessibility Initiative that allows us to offer sliding-scale tickets to nearly all of our events that require admission.* These tickets, which are available for as low as $5 per person, can be purchased online by anyone who self-identifies as experiencing financial hardship. Sliding-scale tickets can also be purchased at the door during events, with no one turned away due to lack of funds. The Outreach and Accessibility Initiative has been made possible through generous funding from the Ben and Jerry’s Foundation and The Adelard A. and Valeda Lea Roy Foundation.
The historic cathedral that houses Epsilon Spires has undergone renovations to be wheelchair accessible and ADA-compliant. Handicapped parking is available next to the entrance ramp to the building, and our restrooms are fully accessible and gender-neutral. The majority of the films we show are presented with subtitles, but if you are hearing-impaired and would like to know if subtitles will be available at a particular screening, please contact us through this form. The form can also be used to inquire about other accessibility accommodations.
*please note that we occasionally host events with set ticket prices contractually required by the featured artist or partnering organization
